Second attempt went way smoother once I mixed the alginate powder with the right water temp. The mold set evenly with no lumps, so the refill bag saved the whole project.
Got the refill bag after messing up my first pour, and the alginate base is forgiving enough that my second attempt came out way cleaner than the first. Sets in just a few minutes, so you’re not waiting around forever.
The powder mixes up smooth and sets fast enough that I didn't lose patience mid-process, which is usually my problem. Plenty in the bag for a few do-overs, so the extra cost is worth it for the peace of mind alone.
